Goswamis of Vrindavan

Set of six miniatures in Gaudiya Vaisnava Tradition. The Goswamis of Vrindavan. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu requested a select few among his followers, who later came to be known as the Six Gosvamis of Vrindavan, to systematically present his theology of bhakti in their writings. The members Six Goswamis of Vrindavan from the 15th and 16th centuries, Braj land, North India are represented in the paintings as follows.
